Dr. Burket has always been committed to volunteering his skills as a dentist and a physician. Over the years he as volunteered for Head Start, and Volunteers In Medicine's Mobile Dental Van providing care for dozens of people in need here in Central Oregon.
In 2009 Dr. Burket will travel to Central America and work for Hospitalito Atitlan in Guatemala. With his dual training, Dr. Burket can offer his help to people in need of dental, medical, and obstetric care. Plans for the Burket family to travel to Guatemala in 2010 are also in the works. Not only will Dr. Burket provide dental and medical care, but Julie and the kids can help with community projects and attempt to improve their Spanish speaking skills!
