Dr. Burket's specialty is Family Medicine. After receiving his degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon he attended residency at North Colorado Family Medicine in Greeley, Colorado. This residency program specializes in rural medicine; training physicians in many surgical procedures, and surgical obstetrics so they are able to provide medical care in very small communities where there are no specialists providing care.
Although Family Medicine encompasses all ages, Dr.Burket has limited his practice is to women's care, obstetrics, pediatrics, and young adults. Even though each patient is unique, he generally refers patients over 60 to other physicians in the area.
